candidate has ever become president without carrying ohio. recent polls show romney is down in the state by anywhere from 4 to 7 points against the president. so he's not doing great in ohio but he's faring well financially after a trip to los angeles over the weekend. romney brought in $6 million in just one night at a fund-raiser in beverly hills where about 1500 people paid up to $50,000 each to see the candidate speak. ann romney ran into a little trouble when her plane had to make an emergency landing this weekend. she is safe and sound but her husband was naturally a little bit nervous especially because he cannot figure out why airplane windows don't go down. romney told the "los angeles times" that's the biggest problems with a plane in trouble is you can't get anymore oxygen on the plane because the windows do not roll down. obviously one of the many reasons that airplane windows don't open is because at that altitude, there's not enough oxygen to get passengers any air. we're back with more bill after
